I used to think I was pretty hot stuff.

Born into a broken home, I was 1 year old when my parents divorced, which led to constantly moving and relocating to different states, leaving friends, lacking stability, and being torn between loyalties at every visitation exchange.

And I grew up wearing hand-me-down clothes and living in low-income housing. There was abuse, and court battles, and an ever-present sense of dread, anxiety, and insecurity.

and court battles, and an ever-present sense of dread, anxiety, and insecurity.

So I rebelled…into the wrong crowds, the wrong addictions, the wrong attitudes.
 Until I hit rock bottom.

It was then that I came to encounter a grace and love so limitless it changed my life. So I dusted myself off, went to school, and got a degree so I could help other people overcome some of the challenges I had faced. It was my passion, my calling.

It was then that I came to encounter a grace and love so limitless it changed my life. So I dusted myself off, went to school, and got a degree so I could help other people overcome some of the challenges I had faced. It was my passion, my calling.

And I excelled at it.

I racked up awards, scholarships, certificates, accolades. After achieving two state licenses to practice, national board certification, and international reciprocity, I climbed the ranks of the mental health profession from community clinic therapist to spearheading government contracts with local agencies to develop treatment programs.

But I wanted more impact.

So I went on to become an intensive outpatient coordinator, developing and overseeing behavioral health programs at several locations in multiple counties, and then shifted into executive positions leading clinical operations for agencies with state-wide reach, actively creating and guiding teams of clinicians at every major level of care from inpatient to community support.

I gave talks at universities and provided guidance to a host of CEOs, founders, and executives on strategy and growth. I’ve been interviewed on coast-to coast radio shows, featured online, in print, on television. As I mentioned, I thought I was pretty hot stuff.

But I was toast.

It didn’t matter that I was good at what I did...the hours, the stress, and the responsibility was taking a toll on my health, my faith, my family.

So I stepped down and joined a private practice, getting back to one-on-one care with my patients.
And though I had more time, I still lacked balance. There was still something missing.

And though I had more time, I still lacked balance. There was still something missing.

I started a business providing consultation to treatment agencies looking to launch, pivot, or scale. It was rewarding to see the impact other agencies were able to make through my guidance,
and the business served as a force-multiplier since I could impact thousands of clients in this way rather than simply those on an individual caseload.

But I noticed the success was hollow. I was a high-achiever, productive, and blessed, to be certain.
Yet the “next big milestone” didn’t bring fulfillment, so I pushed harder. I set rigid time-management strategies for work/life balance but I still felt guilty, like I was falling short in one area or another.

I tried self-help books, motivational videos, productivity hacks, but that nagging sense that I was out of alignment with my full potential and the longing for something greater remained.

So instead of going higher, I went lower. I began soul searching, scaling back, digging deep. I hit the books and immersed myself in established psychological and neurological research as well as cutting-edge discoveries. I used these evidence-based techniques to develop a rapid neurological change model called Accelerated NeuroCoversion (ANC)
that quickly shifts mental states and automates success.1

It was then I realized that I needed something stronger, something deeper: a grasp of success and achievement that went beyond dollars, influence, or prestige; something that could fuel a purpose that produced deep satisfaction, peace, and connection.

But this was not enough. For success to be lasting and truly satisfying, it had to be internal,
not external.  It had to be based on one’s identity. So I took the principles of ANC and combined them with identity-shifting methods from the scientific world, transcendent spiritual teachings, holistic health practices, and all the years of clinical experience I  amassed while in practice.

IT CHANGED MY LIFE. AND I KNOW IT CAN CHANGE YOURS TOO.

What I discovered was the Abundance Approach.
